The world’s largest travel site TripAdvisor has announced the 2019 Certificate of Excellence to Ciaoviet Travel; and with it, we have qualified for the hallowed Hall of Fame. This Certificate of Excellence award marks the excellence in the tourism industry and is only achieved by having the consistently great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. In total, since 2015, we have been awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence five years in a row (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019), it is a true award for the entire team at Ciaoviet Travel.

The Certificate of Excellence is awarded annually to travel businesses that consistently receive positive reviews from real travelers over a 12-month period. Only the top-rated 10 percent of the travel businesses can be recognized with this reward, which reflects “the best of the best” for service, quality, and customer satisfaction. With a high percentage of “Excellent” and “Very Good” reviews, we have earned TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for seven consecutive years (2015-2019).

The Hall of Fame is a special reward granted only to Certificate of Excellence recipients for 5 years’ running. This year, we have achieved the coveted TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame” status as a result of earning a Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five consecutive years from 2015 to 2019. Excellence and consistency are two core components of our high-standard service, which has been recognized with this award.

This certificate is truly a remarkable achievement in recognition of outstanding satisfaction and high-quality customer service offered by our travel agency. It takes into account the quality, quantity, and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, Ciaoviet Travel must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

All tour guides in Vietnam from Hanoi, Hue, Sapa were knowledgeable, friendly and adapted to changes we wanted on the fly with no hesitation. I felt they, in heart and mind were proud of their country’s history, culture and people. The events planned for us gave us all a great feeling for the country.

From the hustle and moped-filled and zig zig back streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to the spectacular hill station and rice terraces in Sapa, beach front in Hoi An, to kayak and water adventures in Ha Long Bay and the mighty Mekong river–each day was a day you did not want to end.

The food, hotels and sightseeing were all top notch and provided great value for every dollar. Indochina was less expensive than two other companies we checked out for an essentially identical itinerary. I was so impressed, I plan to return soon and see those places I did not see in my 16 days and Lam suggested us to visit Far North East to see another wonderful rice terraces in Ha Giang, Mai Chau, biggest Vietnamese natural lake of Ba Be, Ban Gioc water fall in Cao Bang and marvelous hill tribal markets like Lung Phin, Dong Van….

A few hints for smart travelers, bring single small dollars for tips and all miscellaneous small items are widely accepted these small payment.
